Processed data
Depending on how the product is used, the following data in particular may be processed:
- Auth0 user ID and email address for login and account assignment.
- Public wallet addresses, optional wallet aliases/labels, wallet snapshots, and portfolio snapshots.
- Asset visibility or whitelist settings per user.
- Price snapshots are not user-specific, but may be used for portfolio display.
- Language or theme settings may be added later if they are introduced in the product.
JedimoCore does not ask for private keys or seed phrases. Users should never enter or send this information by email.
Purposes of processing
- Providing login, session handling, and protected app access.
- Displaying and updating wallet, asset, and portfolio information.
- Securing operations, analyzing errors, and preventing misuse.
- Processing feedback or deletion requests by email.
Legal bases
- The provision of app, login, account, and portfolio functions is generally based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Security, operational, error analysis, and misuse prevention logs are processed based on legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Where statutory retention obligations apply, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR only becomes relevant if optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced later.
Services and providers used
Hosting and database
Hosting, API operation, and PostgreSQL run on Render. Based on the current project state, the API and PostgreSQL are planned in Frankfurt; static sites are delivered globally or CDN-based via Render.
Authentication is handled through Auth0. Login currently uses email. Until the end of the closed alpha, manual approval via Auth0/app_metadata.approved is planned; an open beta without manual approval is planned later.
The mailbox for feedback@jedimocore.com is operated through IONOS.
Blockchain and price data
Depending on chain and configuration, external providers such as Alchemy, Blockstream, Solana RPC, XRPL Cluster, Stellar Horizon, and Hedera Mirror Node may be used for wallet, token, price, and blockchain data. Public wallet addresses, chain/network information, and token/asset information may be transmitted to providers.
Cookies and local storage
The app uses technically necessary session cookies and CSRF cookies to provide login, session protection, and secure form/API requests. Based on the current state, no tracking or marketing cookies are used.
Analytics
Analytics is currently not active or still undecided. As long as no provider is implemented, no analytics provider is named here.
Server and operational logs
Server and error logs may be created during operation. Wallet addresses should be logged in shortened or masked form where implemented. Logs are processed only as long as technically or operationally required; retention by providers or hosting services depends on the services and plans used.
Backups and recovery
A backup and recovery strategy will be finalized before an open beta. Providers used may process technical backups depending on service and plan. Changes will be reflected in this privacy information.
Data deletion
Users can delete wallets in the app. Account or data deletion can be requested by email at feedback@jedimocore.com until the open beta. An in-app deletion function is planned for the open beta. Upon deletion, user-related data should be removed unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.
Retention period
Account, wallet, and portfolio data are generally processed as long as the account is used. Until the open beta, deletion can be requested by email at feedback@jedimocore.com; an in-app deletion function is planned. Operational logs are processed only as long as technically or operationally required. Provider and hosting retention depends on the services and plans used.
Data subject rights
Data subjects can contact feedback@jedimocore.com and, where the statutory requirements are met, exercise the following rights:
- Access to processed personal data.
- Rectification of inaccurate data.
- Erasure of personal data.
- Restriction of processing.
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability.
- Lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Language version
In case of discrepancies, the German version prevails. English content is provided as a translation.
